ScreenTone FreeSeps Gemini AI Edition (Freeware) License Agreement
This is a legal agreement between you (the "Licensee") and [ Max Chroma ] (the "Licensor") for the software product ScreenTone FreeSeps Gemini AI Edition.

This "FreeSeps" Edition is a powerful, free-to-use tool. By downloading or using this software, you agree to these terms.

1. License Grants & Use (What You Get)
A Free, Perpetual License: You are granted a free-to-use, perpetual license for the compiled "black box" application.

Commercial Use: You may use the FreeSeps Edition for both personal and commercial projects, free of charge and without royalties.

2. AI Functionality and Data Privacy (Crucial Update) 🛡️
The ScreenTone FreeSeps Gemini AI Edition includes features powered by Google's Gemini API via a Bring-Your-Own-Key (BYOK) model.

Client-Side Processing Only: All AI generation and data handling occur exclusively on the Licensee's local device/browser.

No Data Processing by Licensor: The Licensor [Max Chroma] does not collect, store, transmit, log, or process your API keys, text prompts, image data, or the resulting generated images. The Licensor is not a party to the data transaction between your browser and Google's API.

Direct API Calls: All requests for AI generation are sent directly from the Licensee's browser/device to Google's API endpoint and the results are returned directly to the Licensee's browser/device.

User Liability: By using this feature, you acknowledge that all prompts, data, and content generated are entirely your responsibility. You are liable for complying with Google's API Terms of Service, any intellectual property laws, and all ethical guidelines related to the content you generate.

3. Restrictions (What You Can't Do)
No Reverse Engineering: You may not decompile, disassemble, reverse-engineer, or make any attempt to discover or access the source code of the application. This is a "black box" license.

No Modification: You may not modify, patch, or alter the application.

No Redistribution: You may not sell, rent, or bundle the application. If you wish to share the software, you must link to the official Licensor website for download. This ensures all users have the latest, most secure version.

4. Upgrade Path
This free application is supported by the purchasers of the ScreenTone Eternal Perpetual Edition, our paid, professional version.

Features developed for the Perpetual Edition may, over time, be migrated into this FreeSeps Edition.

If you want to access the newest experimental features, the User-Modifiable-Source-Code (UMSC), and receive all future updates immediately, please consider purchasing a lifetime license for ScreenTone Eternal.

5. Component Licenses and Copyright (Dithermark)
ScreenTone FreeSeps Edition is a modified, derivative work built upon the open-source project Dithermark by Allen Garvey.

Max Chroma IP: All modified portions, new features, enhancements, and the specific architecture/code not present in the original Dithermark are proprietary to [ Max Chroma ].

Original Dithermark IP: The underlying foundation of the original Dithermark project remains licensed under the MIT License. To comply with the terms of that license, the following copyright notice and permission must be included:
